MonoMonday:Heritage

About 15 km west of Blackheath is the village of Hartley, described as having "one the finest collections of historic buildings in Australia".

Probably the most impressive is the sandstone courthouse (see extras), although the Catholic church is also quite grand.
There are some much humbler structures as well.

Most are no longer in use, except as tourist attractions, and the entire village is heritage listed to preserve these relics of Australia's colonial past.
