Pathway Through Fields of Gold

Like probably the most of the UK, it's been a grey day today that just got greyer. And drizzly. It didn't stop me enjoying a good ol' catch up with friends over coffee this morning though! 

At the end of the afternoon, I nipped out for a while to soak up some English countryside and take a few photos. It being such a grey day, it seemed a good plan to head for the oilseed rape fields to inject a little sunshine into the day!

I seem to remember that last year I had trouble finding a clear view of the expanses of gold without a prickly hedge in the way but not so this year! Ok - I admit to climbing over one or two locked gates......
