The Graveyard Run

Back-blip 4 of 4.....

After the excesses of yesterday a gentle day driving around the Lizard Peninsula paying respects and laying flowers on what I fondly call The Graveyard Run. Sadly, three of my uncles and two aunties have passed away in the last twelve months.

Several close relations including my Dad are buried at St. Mawgan in Meneage and it was nice, in a strange sort of way, to go into the Church and have a moment to reflect. It was good too to capture this image as a reminder of those family members now laid to rest there.

Late afternoon we went back to Helston for another very enjoyable snooker session before driving to Newlyn, via Marazion (and some more photos), to meet the in-laws for a meal at the Meadery which, as ever, was scrumptious.
