Atlantic spray

We did a tour of the island today. An organised one. We rarely do this as independent travellers, but having been to Barbados a number of times we realised we only knew the main highlights.

We've been all around the island today including stopping at a few places included one where a guy at the side of the road hefted open a coconut and poured rum into it for us to drink. Jonathan discovered he really liked coconut (without rum) rather than the mush you get in Bounty bars.

This image was on the Atlantic coast. Next stop is Senegal. The ocean constantly pounds the shoreline as can be seen in the erosion in the coral based rocks. Spray was shooting up to 80-100 feet in the air. The rocks are about 60 feet high. A complete contrast to the serene boat shot a couple of days ago.
