Shanghai

It's the classic shot of the financial district from The Bund but it's got to be done!  It is a totally different world from the previous few days.

China has been an amazing experience.  The contrast between extreme poverty and extreme wealth here is dramatic.  Our guide told us this morning that the average annual income in Shanghai is £9600 which is about £2000 more than the rest of China.

After taking this shot we went across the river to wander around among the enormous skyscrapers.  It was all amazingly clean.   Jane has blipped an image of these buildings.

My extra was taken at the Jade Buddha Temple.  We have seen a lot of Buddhas and Temples on this trip and I think we are now qualified to be tour guides!

We are going to an acrobatics show this evening.  There are other shows we wanted to see in China but some were cancelled by weather.

PS  Acrobatics show was absolutely amazing.   We are speechless.
