SO LOOK WHAT CAME OUT OF THE LAVA CASE

Two days ago I showed you a damsel fly on my flag reed in the 'pond'. In the extras was a lava which Mollyblob's said was waiting to hatch.  Well IT DID.  I just failed to capture it pulling its tail out of the case - it was quite an effort but in the extras is the sequence from lava, to just emerged, to growing its long body, then starting to extend its wings and then the penultimate picture before the rains came again of it almost the same size but not yet the same colour as its mate of two days ago. The last one is  3 hours later and it has taken a battering in the rain but looks more solid and the mate has flown off to hide somewhere
