Down near the Olympic village

We trooped to Stratford Westfield today to catch a glimpse of the Olympic atmosphere. I hadn't been to this shopping centre before, but I know the Westfield in Shepherd's Bush. I prefer the latter - much less busy and somehow more spacious. However, Stratford has the Olympics and it was interesting to see people wearing Olympic-branded clothing, many with country names on their backs. We saw people from Australia, Croatia, Germany and Denmark.

The Getty Gallery by the shopping centre has good exhibitions about east London and the Olympics. This one was my favourite, although the colours don't do it justice on this online image.
