On Old Faithfull Road

Monday...My favourite...Well actually I like them all but there is something about Mondays when it means that we go out walking with the B team. The sun was shining, The sky was blue The Boss made lunch (his not mine) and we shot through.
Oh that has a bit of a ring to it don't you think?
Wanaka has choices when you leave town. You can leave town and go over the Cardrona to Queenstown (The road is mostly open in winter). You can turn left out of town and go to the West Coast. You can turn right past the airport and go East or you can go over The Red Bridge and into the Lindis Pass which is the preferred route northwards, and that was the way we went today travelling to the Lindis river and the old road that used to be the main road and the building that used to be the pub. ( about 100 years ago)?
AND loyal fans, thank you for your support of D.A.C.S. I am totally swept away and never realised that I seem to have struck a note with you all. (Must be either small children or dogs or both)
The image was opposite the Pub but that was an old stone type building with scrappy shrubs and stuff, no roof and apart from record shots was not going to look good at noon so The Boss pointed the other way as the land forms were more to his liking.
There are some shots on the portfolio page for you
