The UK's Largest Home

Beautiful sunny day, so we went to Wentworth Woodhouse, Nr. Rotherham.
This house, reputedly the largest in the UK, is twice as wide as Buckingham Palace and formerly owned by the aristocrat who inspired Jane Austen’s Mr Darcy.
It has five miles of corridors, is 150 times the size of your average home and has 365 rooms - one for every day of the year.
It has just been sold - to a restoration trust - for £7 million - but - it needs another £42 million spending on it over the next 10 years or so.
I have put a couple of extras showing the Stable Block !
