Maybe Not Very Famous.

Today me & Mrs MD ventured into North Yorkshire in search of this year's asparagus. I remembered Val C mentioning Cawood - so that's where we headed and that's where we bought a couple of bundles - superb - thank you Val :-)
We then went into Selby to visit Selby Abbey.  It may not be as famous as York Minster, or Beverley Minster - but it is a magnificent church and well worth a visit should any blipper be in the vicinity. It was founded in 1069 and is a true 'Hidden Gem'.
My extras show the rather glorious rood screen and the stunning St Germain window in the North Transept.
