Fetterbush

The big pieris (whose common name apparently is fetterbush, not that I knew that, so perhaps 'common' is used here in the same way as 'common sense') (excuse the tangent) is flowering spectacularly at the moment.

Workers of various sorts here today.  Rod & John are tackling the very last piece of roof that they haven't done on the house. Ben & Harry came and dug away at the final section the past owner's rubbish tip that buried a quarter of the tennis court.

Later M & C and assorted family arrived for the weekend.
