Salvage from the Wreckage

Snuck away from work early and mum gave us a lift to the station. The train gave us a lift to Brum airport. The Ryanair plane gave us a lift to Dublin. The taxi gave us a lift to the hotel. Which was clearly in Ireland because the TV in the bar was showing a documentary about Eurovision.

Travelling back in time, Sunday was the last vets' game of the season. A thrilling bottom-half of the table clash which ended 3-3. And it was hot! Came back and took the new-ish 2nd-hand road bike out for a test ride. In between, visited mum and played with her new BP machine. The BP, which had been a bit high at the health MOT, was reassuringly lower.

A short week at work which involved goalposts being moved around quickly and often.
