Brochure photo for Villeneuve sur Lot?

Today we visited several places in the Lot valley. There are the typical fortified towns of this region. Here we were working out which part of the town houses and river should be included in a tourist photo for the town brochure (just an exercise you understand). I've chickened out and produced a panorama. Best seen in large version.

It was very hot all day with hardly a cloud to be seen at any time. You have to move slowly and feel as though you are on holiday. Our picnic lunch was taken in style, with cloths on the picnic tables and shiny goblets for our wine.

I could get used to this.

Also saw loads of swallowtails, bees, flowers, sloes. I had an early walk by the canal and had fun meeting the locals.
