Unexpectedly sunny today...

... and a visit to Auntie Joyce, who has had a rather tottering week. She has had a couple of falls so she was feeling a bit sorry for herself when we first arrived, though she improved a lot during our visit. We had hoped to take her out for lunch but she wasn't feeling up to it. When we called back later in the afternoon, however, she was on much better form.
Later we met Sue and Richard for a walk along the Longsands, and back via Front Street. The shadows as we stopped to survey King Edward's Bay just caught my eye...
