The Pied Piper of Linton

The Book Festival kicked off today with a ghost tour of some of the spooky houses and horrible history in Linton.  Matthew Ward of History Needs You knows how to spin a tale and had his audience enthralled.

We had him marching down the High Street in rather more ceremonial gear a couple of years ago for the start of that Book Festival too so this picture was a must for me.
