History's Alive

I loved today - the start of the Linton Children's Book Festival organised by superstar Gill and History Needs You .  Really interesting and fun, and the fact that the sun shone all day meant people hung around and ate and drank and chatted - fabulous!

This was the beginning, a parade down Linton High Street.   Fellow blippers weren't there for that so I'm going with this one :-)  

Clearly a not to be missed photographic opportunity, other blippers turned up for the day, as well as I'd estimate 1,000+ other people,  sunny,   dd, uke, harry ,ron and too busy as well as afterdark whom I hadn't met before.

Too tired to spend time editing and uploading photos tonight especially when you can see what happened with this set of far more impressive ones, taken by local professional photographer Tony Ellis.

Very well done all involved!  What a great start!
