The Litercati

There's a lovely and funny poem by Dorothy Parker that goes

If, with the literate, I am
Impelled to try an epigram
I never seek to take the credit
We all assume that Oscar said it

That has nothing to do with anything, it's just that my head is filled with such nonsense and sometimes it just comes out.  I was once described as "not a stream of consciousness, more of a jacuzzi of consciousness."  I think that's quite accurate.

And so, 2000 Blips with no gaps.

I would have gone out to look for something special to Blip but today is Kalte Sophie and the weather is indeed cold and wet and very ungemütlich (which I translate as "uncosy") - so it was down to what was around the house.

Normally Moot has the settee and Munni is up on the shelf (and they are seldom so close to each other) And I like the fact that this is the other way round.

I've enjoyed and despaired* at my time on Blip.  Sometimes the last thing I've wanted to do is to remember to take a picture and write something.  And sometimes I have to really get my red pen out and edit my texts down to something that isn't as long as Lord Of The Rings.

I still take dreadful photos, I still write a lot of nonsense and most of the time, I'm happy with that.

Thanks to all who look and all those who comment.  If you're ever in  Wiesbaden, drop me a note on here and we can have a Blipmeet.  I know some pretty places.

* despaired is perhaps over-egging the pudding.  Suffice to say, there are some days when I can't be arsched (although that would probably be "gearscht" if there was a German verb "arschen", which there isn't.)
