Tree Peony and Bluebells

So many lovely flowers out in the garden at the moment, so I took several shots as keepers just in case I didn't get anything else.  This is the tree peony, which has an unfortunate habit of facing into next door's garden and not ours:-)  I had to lean over their wall to get this, although it's our plant!

In the afternoon, we went to see the bluebells in Kercock Woods and it's just as well we did, as the dry weather has caused them to fade quicker than usual.  The extra shot shows just a small area, but there were masses and the scent was lovely.

The woods were quiet when we were there, so we were both able to indulge in a swing on the rope and plank fixed to a tall tree.  Great fun, but I wouldn't have dared if anyone else had been there:-)
