Wayside Pointing

It is rather odd to come across a giraffe (even an unreal one) at the side of the road in Buckinghamshire so, with today's theme for MonoMonday as 'Wayside', I just had to stop and take a few photographs.  I had every intention of blipping an old horse trough in the village of Aston Clinton close by but today, as luck would have it, the 'gardener' was there tidying up the foliage and not enhancing the potential image. Plan B then, I thought.

A little further along the same road is a new Nursery cum Re-cycled garden ornament centre run by a local business man who seems to do most things - although more well know for the very large inflatable Father Christmas he has advertising the Christmas trees for sale later in the in the year.

I chose an angle to include the telephone mast and used the Lensbaby Sweet 35 to add some interest.  I very much like the giraffe's neck plus the wires all leading to one point.
Thanks very much to Nickimags888 for hosting this interesting challenge. It's almost a year ago since I was in Jersey and had the pleasure of meeting our host and her son - a beautiful island and well worth visiting.
