Eating Out

14th May 2016:

Now we support 98 girls in their efforts to take up the places they qualified for in Government Secondary Schools.
They have no fees, often no uniform, shoes, socks, underwear, no books, no copies, pencils and the list goes on
Sometimes there are up to 150 in a class.
Many classrooms would be banned for housing animals in the rest of the world
Often there are no doors, windows or floors.
As for Blackboards and chalk??
We take in as many girls as can attend at our Centre for Learning on Saturdays where we employ 5 excellent teachers to help with their lessons.
Of course we have to feed them. They come without breakfasts and would probably have no mid-day meal, just eating 1 meal per day.

Some girls walked up to 17 Km each way until Benjamin our driver began a collection and delivery service.

It is a HARD Hard World, run by bureaucrats you would not wish to meet.

Thats our Girls
