For all I am

“Give sorrow words; the grief that does not speak knits up the o-er wrought heart and bids it break.”  - Macbeth  Act IV sc 3 (William Shakespeare)

To give some words to my sorrow is to write that it is ten years today since losing Mum

A day that started in Istanbul with sports day at school in recognition of Turkey's national Commemoration of Atatürk, Youth and Sports Day
celebration and holiday, and finished after a (delayed) flight from Istanbul to Bodrum as I will spend the next few days at my flat in Akbuk. Today's photo, taken from my Turkish Airlines window seat. Visual cliché and metaphor that fits my feeling tonight as I raise a glass at 9pm (UK time) knowing that my brother is doing the same, to celebrate the life that gave us ours.

For all I am, will ever be,
I am your song, your melody.
