Demolition............

..........Underway

This former home is slowly being demolished. The yellow weatherboards are once again visible with the removal of the corrugated iron cladding.
This house was bought by the Harford family in 1919 and remained in the family for several generations, where they operated a farm growing crops and farming sheep and cattle.
In 1960 the Harfords built another house close by and when they moved into the new home this original building became a woolshed.
The present owner bought the property in 2002 and uses the land for horticulture.

This entry is tagged for the Derelict Sunday challenge and I thank Marlieske who is the present host.

Thank you for the comments, stars and hearts for yesterday’s blip of wild seedheads. It was a wet day and I sat the container on a window sill to use the available natural light. The colour in the background is from a wisteria vine which is in the process of providing us with autumn colour.
