Late bloomers

The second of the two monarch butterflies has hatched out and it is now pouring with rain. I'm not sure if it will survive or not. It did open it's wings briefly yesterday but when I went to retake it this morning it wasn't moving much. The swan plant is still flowering, the seed pod is also showing as is the chrysalis shell the butterfly hatched from. So you have the whole story for Biker Bears Flower Friday.
Just for interest- normally the butterflies hatch within 2 weeks of going into the chrysalis stage, these two have been 2 months because of the cooler weather. I wasn't home for either hatching and the other one was fine so can only hope this one will be ok once the sun shines again.
