Grey Wagtail

Our birdwatching class today went to Loganlea reservoir, and in spite of the low cloud we had good views of cuckoo (a first for me) and more distant views of ring ouzel (another first for me - record shot, heavily cropped, in extras). Lovely views of swallows and common sandpiper, but this male grey wagtail did pose nicely for me. The commemorative bench at Flotterstone had to earn a place as a second extra today - I admire the design and the skill in execution.
