Insects

I've been too busy to post blips for the last couple of days, and am struggling to keep up with everyone's journals.

I WILL catch up, but it may take a while...

On a visit to our local pond today, the air was thick with insects - lots of food for birds, but not very pleasant for us.

No sign of little grebe chicks yet and we're going to be away for the next couple of weeks so I won't be able to check for a while - hopefully there will be some when we get back.
