The Bully

Sugar woke still not feeling very good, so we stayed home from school. She felt some anxiety about missing the start of State testing.  She really didn't want to get behind, but I assured her that it would be fine.  She'd catch up....and it really doesn't matter all that much in the long run.  Her health is more important.

We had a nice quiet day at home, hoping that the rest and relaxation would help her heal quickly.  This is a BIG week.  Her dance recital is this weekend, and she will have dance practice or rehearsal every day but one.

In the late afternoon, we headed into town so that she could at least watch dance, but she felt strong enough to participate.  This was good.

When we got home, I did the animal chores, and I was followed around the yard by this bully.  Amber is the yard boss for sure.  Everyone pays attention to where she is....and what she is doing.  She hasn't hurt anyone....well.....she did bit Sugar's finger once, but mostly she is harmless....but she talks a big talk.  Silly  Chicken.  Suddenly, we have gone from having 3 eggs a day to only one.....so I think I need to keep them in their pen for several days to see if it is egg production issues...or if they are laying them elsewhere.
