Morning Shadows

Out early again with Finlay it was quite cloudy with a threat of rain - but occasional bursts of sunshine.

During one of the sunny periods I was passing this little sapling and the light was shining through a hedge and created a little 'spotlight' and cast a shadow of the leaf against the fence post. I had time to grab a shot or two before the sun disappeared.

I had also shot a backlit dandelion 'clock' - still closed up and rather damp looking and couldn't decide which to blip - so it is in extras today.

Yorkshire Water have been busy pumping blocked sewers around our property today (there is one running under our back garden with a manhole access point - so it has been a bit 'pongy' around here). The sewer is an old one servicing properties further up the road - not ours, which has drains running the other way!
