Time Waits for No Man

It never fails to surprise that a four day absence from home seems so much longer when you return and have to catch up on mail and other online affairs which have stacked up while we had a paucity of WiFi  in Barra.

While the indoor plants had been well watered before we left, LeeAnne's tulips seem to have been trying to make good their escape from the vase.

Although we have sunshine, there is a stiff breeze blowing across the Meadows today causing a snow storm of pink as the fading cherry blossom is caught in its clutches and swept off in horizontal eddies to lie in drifts outlining the paths and surrounding grass. I am sorry to see it go, it was such a beautiful backdrop to our view.
