Another failure

Having tried two cheap card readers for Mrs T'S ipad, both of which worked - briefly, I decided to buy the ridiculously overpriced Apple version. When I plugged it in I was somewhat annoyed to get the message, "This accessory is not supported". That's another return to Amazon.
I hate b----y Apple.
