After the rain

Oh what a week. I have been laid low with this bug but yesterday I was at long last feeling a bit more human.

However I am not the problem. Mrs V was burgled on Thursday during the day when they were at work . The rotters broke through a French window at the back of the house. Alas Mrs V has lost all her rings many of which were very sentimental and were family pieces. They took only good items leaving anything silver. Mr V lose his two watches one was a wedding gift from Mrs V. The place was turned upside down. All draws were taken out even in Miss Gs bedroom. Nothing else other than jewellery was taken .

As a result they have been here while the house is put back together. Everything has had to be washed. And will they be caught? I doubt it.
