Beadnell, Northumberland, Backblip

It took us just about five hours to drive up to Beadnell for the start of our holiday, stopping off at Bedale for a rest and bite to eat.

We arrived at our cottage in sunshine, waited for our friends to arrive and then walked down to the coast to see what it was like and weren't disappointed.  After unpacking we dropped in at the Craster Arms, three doors away, for a leisurely drink before calling in at the fish and chip shop for a takeaway dinner back at base.
