Cactus flowers

I was just beginning to wonder if this cactus, which stands on the kitchen window sill, was going to produce any flowers this year, when I noticed two days ago that it had two buds, which were just starting to open and show some colour. They had fully opened yesterday and I thought they would make a nice blip on this grey and mostly wet Sunday.
