Radio Kootwijk

We went to the Kootwijkerzand to have a picknick and see this large concrete colossus that was the main building for Radio Kootwijk, a large radio station built in the interbellum to keep in contact with our colony the Dutch-Indies. It was built in a remote area to avoid interference from nearby houses.
This 'Building A', or 'the Cathedral' as it's called with more imagination, may look as a boring bunker but it's in fact a nice art deco structure, albeit a very sober art deco.
