Bridge Out - Swim...

Super, fantastic day.. A little drive, a few trails walked and a fabulous BBQ dinner....

In 1911 between these two sides of a river used to be the longest covered railroad bridge in the world.. Back then they used covered trestles to help prolong the lifespan. It stood until 1969 when vandalism and a fire made it unstable forcing it to be torn down..
