Kainga Beach, Waimakariri River

Driving back to the caravan from visiting the house, I kept noticing the white and grey clouds against the blue in the distance. It was a strange light - and not blue sky. It's pouring with rain now so I guess that's what was doing it. I'm not sure I've described it very well.

We've had lots of rain the last couple of days, and it's resulted in yet another leak in the repaired roof. Sigh. Another holdup! It'll put the end-date back, for sure.
