Above And Beyond...

Sunset Over Machen Mill

After searching out a new mobile phone deal off the internet after the shop/provider I bought the original from couldn't match it, it arrived yesterday and I spent a while setting it up.

Today, I rang the provider (Three) to port my number which is with the same network and they offered an even better deal for the same price! This necessitated returning the original phone under the 14 day return policy and will now await the arrival of the new one due tomorrow.

Apparently, the network shops cannot match the offers from the network termination department!! Lesson learned; seek out the best deal via the internet and THEN phone up to cancel where they can price match or offer an upgrade deal to keep you.

It seems there is no automatic reward for loyalty - you have to chase it.

After my scheduled job this evening, I stopped off at the field by my house, which is an old farm called The Old Mill, and watched the sun setting over the nearby hill, casting light over the shrubbery covering the ruins. The photo catches the evening sunset.

It's Wide Angle Wednesday tomorrow!

You are welcome to submit a wide angle photo on anything but judging preference given to the themes below; photo's taken on the day and tagged 'widwed29' for tomorrow.

25 May (tag 'widwed29') any + theme 'yellow'
1   June (tag 'widwed30') any + theme 'shapes'

Make your photo's LOOK wide! You can crop, use 16:9 format, use panorama setting, or even a fisheye lens or feature some cameras have in their settings.  You can also have the wide angle in the vertical!

Go for it!  Think yellow and then s-t-r-e-t-c-h   it!
