Packing up

Now the demolition is complete the space looks even smaller. It's hard to believe that there was a three storey house here and that they will in all likelihood be rebuilding another another one over the hot summer months.  The rainy season is almost upon us which will make construction interesting! 

When I was young, playing on building sites was a big adventure  and allowed me to escape the mean big kids in the park   My friends and I would spend long hours investigating, building dens, playing in the sand piles and playing hide and seek with the usually uninterested site watchmen.  

I don't think this site would keep me occupied for very long! ...although I've always fancied driving a digger...
