At the Lake

After two days of rain it was very wet underfoot at the Taylor Dam. Maisie and I took an evening walk there. At the beginning of our walk she took off through a fence at high speed and into the river. She was after two noisy Paradise ducks who gave her the fingers in bird fashion as they flew heaven-wards. I stood by the river yelling for her. The little monkey eventually returned soaking wet. Thereafter I kept her on the lead. By the time we reached the actual lake the sun was setting and the light was rather wonderful.
A message to my Australian friends.... The film "Hunt for the Wilderpeople" is being released in Australia on Thursday the 26th of May...that is tomorrow. This film is a "must see"....
