Cygnets

After a house bound day not even the rain could keep me from a walk down to the dam this evening. After all, what are umbrellas for?

Both children have been off sick all week with a bug and today it was my turn to have them at mine, so no picket duty or demos for me.

It's been nearly two weeks since I was last down at Tong Park, and in that time the cygnets have hatched. Five seems a very healthy brood. Mr Swan was still making sure nothing got within fifty feet of the youngsters, so forgive this grainy long shot through the rain. I'll return in the sunshine for extra fluff.
