Wine in the Herbs

Back to the island after 5 days in Seattle. whew,... we had to have a nap when we got here…
 …. I was worried this lovely collection of herbs I bought at the grocery store on our way up last time would dry out so put 2 wine bottles full of water upside down (caps with holes in them) in it.  ,….. wow, it’s very happy.. the herbs are growing like crazy.. I better start cooking with them. :-)  (giant parsley, oregano, thyme, rosemary, basil, flowers and strawberries and ?)  


(report on the condo meeting last night: We did it!  We will hire the unbelievable painters we found (worth a blip later when they are painting) and paint the condo this summer.  7 of 9 approved the grey color (farthest to the left here, but I’ll get a better photo next week..it’s actually quite a nice complex grey) and we’re working on those other two. ….amazingly civilized!)
