Pointless

After work, M and I went up to a discussion (non-shouty) organised by Arclight. It was interesting and non-shouty, concerned with questions of identity and the EU. Surprisingly few axes were ground. Good chairing by Jo.
It was held in one of the new university buildings on Holyrood Road. I was intrigued by these benches, several of which are built into the frontages.
Would anyone sit on such a rusty slab of iron?
