The Tarmachan Ridge (Meall nan Tarmachan)

After a late start due to a party at the flat the night before, Amy and I headed to the Ben Lawers car park to start walking. It was a relatively relaxed day, with one munro and then a long ridge of other hills. Due to low visibility, we weren't exactly sure when we were meant to come down (as we had to descend before the end of the ridge) and we definitely didn't take the proper path in the end. However, it didn't matter at all and we found the original path at the bottom of the hill and made it back to the carpark. Then off for fish and chips in Tyndrum before heading to Amy's house in Glencoe for the evening.

Extra photo is Purple saxifrage (Saxifraga oppositifolia) which we found along the sides of the hills.
