The Jungle

I may have mentioned my garden before?
The next doors garden is a bit of a nightmare. A few years ago their fence came down, but they refused to replace it.
Two years ago someone bought the place, said he was going to fix the fence but in the 2 years there I never actually saw him once in the garden.
The grass was never cut, the fence was never fixed and bushes grew out of control. My cats would always just walk through and crap in his garden, but I considered that a fair exchange for living next door to an eyesore.
The house went back on the market a little while back (it's not us, honest - We're good neighbours!) and this week a young couple moved in.
They seem really nice and said they have targeted the garden as a summer project. They have actually been out there today and demolished the shed that was falling to bits.
Hopefully after 3 years we'll have a fence up and nice neighbours.
The cat, unfortunately we now only have the one, will miss his easy access to a toilet but i'm sure he'll make do in our border.
It helps the flowers you know :-)
