Storm

Good thunderstorm last night with 5.3 inches of rain in the last 36 hours. The Wakarusa crested just above flood level and fields surrounding it are flooded. Some may never get planted this year. Many people had water in their basements, but that is to be expected on these clays. The ground shifts with drying and wetting, contracting and expanding. We just learn to live with wet basements when we get good rains! More rain on the way!
So here is a storm survivor and in the extras some shots of our creek which in a normal summer is completely dry.
