Quod oculus meus videt

Shrewsbury Walk, Weston Park

A day in the office and then a visit to Weston Park to capture some late light.  The national caravan rally was taking place at the same time, with some 1500 caravans and motorhomes spread across the park land.  Quite a sight.

I headed along Shrewsbury Walk,  an area I have struggled to photograph, in the past.  Partly the is due to my preference to visit the park early in the day, as the walk is often in shade at the beginning of the day.  The rhododendrons and azaleas are all out in force at the moment.  In the end I liked the way the sun was backlighting the leaves in the tree canopy.
