At Last

It lifts the spirits to dizzying heights when a blink of sunshine comes our way. So far it remains a hesitant blink, but hope springs eternal in the human breast they say, and perhaps a little bit of summer that other places have been having will sneak into this bit of the east coast in the afternoon.
For too long we seem to have been lying in the path of a cold east wind which has brought with it dull, gloomy depressing weather.

On a walk through Marchmont with His Lordship this morning, I couldn't resist blipping this cheery front garden with its pink clematis framing a bright yellow door. Enough to gladden my eye.
