The Lozarithm Lens

Caen Hill (Saturday 28th May 2016)

After a round trip via Westbrook to Melksham and back via Devizes with my shopping, I got home with some pictures taken at the Caen Hill Flight. I'd stopped there to check on the cygnets again but I didn't see them or the swans in any of the usual places. There weren't any at the Wharf either so maybe there was a Swan Convention somewhere else.

Obviously I count a day as lost if I don't see any swans, but luckily there were plenty on the Crammer pond in Devizes when I drove past.

The Extras show two wide-angle views of the locks (with a Pentax smc P-DA 12-24mm F4.0 ED/AL (IF) lens).

Lozarhythm Of The Day:
The Kinks - Till The End Of The Day (recorded 25-30 October 1965)
I mentioned that I'd been reading about and listening to the Kinks during this week. This was recorded during the sessions for The Kinks Kontroversy album at Pye Studio No. 2 in London, and was released as a single. The Kinks are augmented by Nicky Hopkins (piano), Clem Cattini (drums) and Ray Davies' wife Rasa Didzpetris-Davies (backing vocals).
