Fab Day Out

We had a fabulous family day out at Bridlington today.

We collected our son and his dog Milo just after 8 and drove to Bridlington where we met up with our daughter, her husband and our granddaughter plus their two dogs. Milo is only six months and has met Finlay once before but has not met the other two canines Pringle and Fudge. Lots of sniffing and wagging all round but they seemed to get on OK!

We walked along the cliff top to Sewerby - where Mrs madwill, our daughter and grandaughter got on the scenic train and rode back to the coastguard station. Meanwhile the three men in the group, four dogs and an empty pushchair walked back! What a sight that must must have been.

We all walked towards the town, but it was really busy and not easy with all the dogs so we returned to coastguard station and tried the new fish and chip shop at the beach - very nice they were too.

I shot this speedboat ride as it made a sharp turn in front of us whilst we were having lunch

The tide had not really gone down far enough for us to have a good wander on the sand - and as it looked as though it was going to rain we decided to leave mid afternoon and all came back to our place for refreshments!

Dogs all had a good play in the garden, Jessica had a good play with her  toys!

Son and dog delivered back early evening and then home for a well earned beer.
