Snail's Pace

A mostly wet day - with a few sunny periods.

We managed to get out for a walk - but not long after we set off it started raining so we headed through the woods to avoid the worst of it. However when we emerged it decided to come down harder and we got a bit wet! We did find a tree to shelter under for a few minutes. 

Finlay in particular dislikes the rain - and walking in it annoys him so he is constantly stopping to shake off! I did spot a deer in one of the fields and I have a very blurry tiny speck of an image, grabbed as it turned and ran away.

On the way back into the village We came across this wee fellow sliding across the footpath - so I stopped to grab a close up!
