Winter?

It's still another day until winter is officially here (1st June).

I'm not sure what's with these jonquils that are flowering at work.  They definitely seem to be seasonally challenged.

Our two junior basketball teams were playing in Timaru tonight, both the boys and girls were contesting for 3rd place after each being beaten in their last game by 1 point.  

Both teams won tonight giving them 3rd place in the competition.  A fantastic result.  I'm so glad I went in to watch them.
